i get ovarian cysts really often, and they almost always rupture.

and let me tell you, that shit is among THE most excruciating pains to ever be experienced.

and it happens at least once a month for me.

except my birth control helps keep the number down and regulates my hormone levels so that if i do have a cyst, it doesn’t get out of control.

birth control isn’t just about preventing pregnancy. it has a lot more purposes than that.
